Big Show w/ Renee Young

Renee asked Show if he would be completely focused on John Cena, as he looks forward to his match with Erick Rowan.

Show said that Renee is making a mistake in thinking that he won’t be completely focused when he steps in the ring with Cena. He said he is willing to forgive her, but that the WWE Universe isn’t willing to forgive him.

He said the only mistakes that are going to be made, are by Cena and Rowan, when they step in the ring with him.

I’m not a Show fan, but this was pretty good. I think he’s going to do a good job with Rowan at TLC.

Booker T and Roman Reigns promo

Booker said that this is the biggest Slammy of the night, in his opinion, and he announced the nominees.

After the vote, Booker announced Reigns as the winner.

Reigns said that it’s not quite a “brass ring,” but it will do. He said that he is going to step up and take down whoever is at the top of the food chain when he returns.

Reigns isn’t allowed to say much, but he always delivers. The hate this guy gets is not just in any way.

John Cena vs. Big Show

After his surprisingly good promo earlier in the night, I wasn’t dreading this match, but that’s because I forgot about how Show is booked as a heel.

Cena went for a couple of early takedowns and bounced off the big man, like he’s not a 15-time world champion.

Cena countered a chokeslam with a sleeper hold, and had Show reeling. Show got out of it and looked to put Cena away, but Cena hit an AA and had Show pinned, but Rollins came running in to break up the pin.

The match ends in a no contest.

After the match, Rollins set up a ladder, and looked for a flying Curb Stomp, while Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble held Cena, but Dolph Ziggler made the save. Ziggler and Cena beat up Mercury and Noble, until they both took KO Punches from Show.

Erick Rowan came down next, but Luke Harper stopped him from entering the ring, and Show chokeslammed him onto the steps.

Ryback was out next, and the brawl continued.

The final sequence saw Harper put Ziggler through a table face-first, then immediately walk into an AA from Cena, who took a Curb Stomp from Rollins, before Rollins, Mercury and Noble put him through the announce table with a Shield-esque triple-powerbomb.

Chaotic final segment to send us home for TLC, much better than the crowded segment that opened last week’s Raw. All the heels stood tall as the show went off the air.
