For those of you who are new to the WWE Network and are expecting a snooze fest because its a Divas match – think again because NXT knows how to use the Divas to the best of their ability.

    • The story of Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks has lasted since August, when Banks lost the #1 contender match against Bayley for the NXT Women’s Championship at Fatal 4-Way. After the Huggable One lost to Charlotte at the event, Banks would come out of the locker room during the fallout show and continue to address her aspirations of becoming the Women’s Champion. Ever since then, the Boss has been on a roll.

    We’ve seen Banks beat up Bayley multiple times and gain a new ally in Becky Lynch. She convinced her to “look in the mirror” after she lost matches two consecutive matches, which resulted in her attacking Bayley from behind when it looked she was saving her from an attack from Banks. All of this momentum for the Boss has resulted in her being the #1 contender to face Charlotte, which will culminate in a match this Thursday.

    These two women should put on a fantastic match. We know that Charlotte always tells a great story in these big name matches, so the question will be if Banks can reach a new level in her first TakeOver match and contribute to stealing the show. I think she should be able to after what she’s shown in the ring for awhile now.

    In the end, with Charlotte likely moving up to the main roster shortly after this event, I think the NXT Women’s Championship will be passed onto Sasha Banks in what should be a very long reign on top of the division.

    Sasha Banks defeats Charlotte for the NXT Women’s Championship.
