Event: WWE WrestleMania 32
Date: April 3, 2016
Arena: AT&T Stadium
Location: Dallas, TX
Yes, we are barely past WrestleMania 31 and exactly one year away from WrestleMania 32. However, speculation always begins as soon as the most recent event ended. If you need an example of that, look at the Brock Lesnar-Roman Reigns WrestleMania main event rumors. Those last from the summer until Royal Rumble, when Reigns won the match of the same name.
While there is not much out about WrestleMania 32, it is always fun to look into the future to see what could happen.
With this in mind, let’s do a way-too-early prediction for the WrestleMania 32 card. Click “next” to continue.

Edit: Seth Rollins is not in this post. Obviously, he will be on the card but these are the first matches that comes to mind for next year.

André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
The André the Giant Battle Royal will likely be annual, as it gives WWE Superstars who would not normally be on the WrestleMania card an opportunity to compete. The match has been also been a success both years, so we can assume they will go to it next year.
Right now, it’s impossible to figure out who will be the hot mid-card talent that will get a chance to shine a year in advance. We saw Cesaro get that chance at WrestleMania 30 as well as Damien Mizdow at WrestleMania 31. Maybe an NXT star like
Adrian
Neville, who the fans seem into early on, will get his chance to shine. How about Ryback getting his moment? Maybe Dean Ambrose finally gets that decisive win?
We won’t know how the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal field will shape up until next February, so speculate away.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match
Kalisto and Sin Cara (c) vs. The Usos vs. Blake and Murphy vs. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd
The WWE tag team division is always in flux, so this is as hard to speculate on as the André the Giant Battle Royal.
This match prediction banks on Kalisto and Sin Cara being a very hot act. We saw the San Jose, CA, crowd get heavily into Kalisto on Monday Night Raw. While this does not mean that this will continue, his lucha libre style will entertain the fans young and old. Cara is the perfect fit to stay with Kalisto on the tag team scene as both have the masked luchadore gimmick.
The Usos are not going to break up because it would make no sense. They are a very entertaining tag team and have a decent chance of flopping as singles competitors. Jimmy and Jey will also always be in the tag team title mix because of how great they are for these matches.
If you wanted to bet on it, Blake and Murphy should be on the main roster by next year. NXT clearly has a lot of faith in them by putting the NXT Tag Team Championship on the two friends. While they are not necessarily “over” with the Full Sail crowd, it does not mean that notion won’t chance.
Despite being the current WWE Tag Team Champions, Cesaro and Tyson Kidd are the most likely team to not be in this match. How come? Because WWE’s tag team division is always in flux. A feud could be set up between these two based on disagreements where someone turns face and ends this partnership. With how these two were just thrown together, this wouldn’t be much of a surprise.
However, if they do stay together, they make too much sense to be involved in this match. They are terrific in-ring workers who would deepen the depth in this match. Plus, WWE has been going in the direction of fatal 4-ways for the Tag Team Championship, so expect it to happen for a third year in a row at WrestleMania 32.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match
Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Sami Zayn vs. Finn Balor vs. Luke Harper vs. Neville vs. The Miz
See the star power for this match above? Could you imagine how phenomenal that would be?
There is no word on if WWE plans on making the IC title ladder match a yearly thing, but it would make too much sense to not. The match gets the crowd going for the rest of the show and always has the potential to steal the show. All of the competitors above would probably make it steal the show.
By next year, Sami Zayn and Finn Balor should be up on the main roster. Will they be in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship hunt upon arrival? Probably not. However, they should get accepted by the WWE Universe quickly.
Dolph Ziggler going into this as the IC Champion is just to throw the belt on someone. Any of these Superstars could be holding the strap by next year. Whoever it is will headline what would be an awesome match.

Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton
Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton doesn’t sound too bad on paper. This would be a fresh feud pitting two Superstars against each other that have never crossed paths on WWE TV in significant fashion.
How this feud would get built up is unknown, but that’s why WWE Creative is there to come up with those things.
A match between these two should be good, as Orton has shown he’s capable of having one with almost any Superstar. Wyatt’s promos calling out the RKO specialist would be a lot of fun to follow as well. This would be seem more likely to happen too with Orton having recently turned face.

WWE Divas Championship Match
Charlotte (c) vs. Sasha Banks
Despite these two facing off so many times in NXT, many fans probably have never seen Charlotte and Sasha Banks have a match. Getting a chance in front of 100,000 fans at WrestleMania 32 would be ideal for the WWE Universe to experience how great these two are.
Charlotte and Banks have already proved they can have a terrific live match, as seen by their NXT TakeOver: R Evolution match. They also had a great back and forth during the fatal 4-way at NXT TakeOver: Rival.
By next year, these two will should both be up on the main roster. Vince McMahon is already high on these two, which means a lot. If the boss likes someone, he will make sure they are given a spotlight.

Sting vs. The Undertaker
Sting vs. The Undertaker is the ultimate dream match that could become a reality if WWE wants The Icon to return for another match.
We know that Undertaker will probably be sticking around for WrestleMania 32, as he came back looking healthy against Bray Wyatt. Plus, WWE wouldn’t just send him off in that match without giving him a proper goodbye. The same could go for Sting. However, it felt like his handshake with Triple H was a way of covering themselves if he never returns.
Putting this match in front of the 100,000 people in AT&T Stadium would be a spectacle. It would have a very similar feel that Hulk Hogan and The Rock had with their match at WrestleMania X-8 – except with thousands of more people in attendance.
This match will only happen if WWE asks Sting to return, who seems like he is open to coming back. Time will tell if the two sides speak again.
WWE.com
Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock
This is the one match that had reported speculation of happening at WrestleMania 32.
A match between Brock Lesnar and The Rock would be a rematch of their 2002 SummerSlam contest. This featured Lesnar defeating Rock for the WWE Championship, making him the youngest winner of the belt at the time.
This match would be done purely for the fanfare that will be behind it with 100,000 fans in the arena. It’s no secret that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a draw wherever he goes, so WWE will look to get him on the card for their biggest show of the year in a massive arena.
The match itself could be fun, although last time we saw Rock wrestle (WrestleMania 29), he suffered many injuries that halted his acting career. Could he be willing to risk that happening again?

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
John Cena (c) vs. Roman Reigns
John Cena will get his 16th World Championship reign at some point and it would not be surprising to see that happen this year. This would be done to set up a “Passing of the Torch” match between himself and Roman Reigns – WWE’s next “guy.” If it wasn’t for the crowd reaction that the former Shield man received for the months leading to WrestleMania 31, this match next year would never happen for the belt.
WWE is likely going to give Reigns a big push after losing all the progress they made with him from the past six months. They know they have to do this if they still want him to lead the company into the future. In WWE’s eyes, what better way for the push to culminate than beating Cena for the top title on the grandest stage of them all? Having this happen would almost make too much sense.
The obvious issue with this is the fan reception for Reigns.
We know that WWE doesn’t care about how the fans react to Cena. However, Mr. HLR has a massive fan base, sells plenty of merchandise and is the leader in Make-A-Wish grants. Reigns does not have any of this at the moment and it’s unclear whether he will ever have a huge fan base. He gets booed in just about every arena he goes to, which doesn’t stand well for him. He even got booed on the Raw after WrestleMania, despite losing the night before. Thought the fans would have sympathy for Reigns? Think again, unfortunately.
By this time next year, if Reigns is getting booed out of every arena, this may not happen. Where WWE would go next for a main event remains to be seen.
