Bad News Barrett became the latest challenger for John Cena’s United States Championship. BNB got a huge hometown reaction when he came out.

The match was a lot of fun, as Cena kicked out of multiple finishers. However, one AA did the trick against Barrett, causing Mr. HLR to retain his belt.

John Cena defeats Bad News Barrett via pinfall to retain the United States Championship.

3.5 out of 5 stars – Following the match, Lana comes out and starts talking to Cena. This turns out to be a distraction, as Rusev would come out and hit Cena with a chain. A Russian Chain Match is announced for their match at Extreme Rules for the WWE United States Championship.
