Dean Ambrose Interview
Renee Young interviews Dean Ambrose about his odds in the Payback main event. Ambrose says he isn’t a math guy or a science guy, but more of a hang out under the bleachers guy. He doesn’t like rules, or Authority. He talks about how contract signings usually are chaos and how he likes chaos. Good little interview that sets up later in the night.
Luke Harper vs Fandango
Result: Luke Harper defeats Fandango via pinfall.
Rating: 2.6 stars out of 5 stars (for the whole segment)
Face Fandango is my favourite Fandango. He loves playing to the crowd. Harper starts slowly fandangoing, but snaps out of it and nails Fandango with a big boot. Fandango manages to get in a little offence, including a tornado DDT. Fandango goes to the top rope but is tossed off by Harper. Harper hits his big discus clothesline for the win in a short match.
After the match, former Wyatt Family member Erick Rowan shows up and stares Harper down. He then viciously assaults Fandango and leaves without a word, leaving Harper in the ring.
If these two are teaming up again, it will be a great addition to the depth of the tag team division and give both guys a sense of direction. Rowan was very miscast as a babyface earlier anyways.
