A recap of the IC Title Elimination Chamber match is shown, followed by a look at some Sonic Shake audition footage. PTP, Miz, and Big Show are shown and for product placement that wasn’t that bad.
Ryback vs Stardust (Non-Title Match)
Result: Ryback def. Stardust by pinfall (Shellshocked)
Rating: 2.5 stars out of 5 stars
The Big Guy makes his way out and Stardust is already in the ring. The commentators say it’s been one year as Stardust for Cody. It seems like it’s been shorter. Stardust hit’s a neckbreaker and takes control of the match. He dives off the second rope and gets caught with a spinebuster by Ryback. Meathook clothesline connects with Ryback, followed by a Shellshocked for the win.
A good match to establish Ryback as a champion, but it was short. Cody deserves better than being the resident mid-card jobber.
