Kane & Seth Rollins Segment
Kane is out as Corporate Kane in a walking boot. Kane talks about how Rollins is in a bind since his tag partner Big Show is out of action. Kane offers his services as Rollins’ partner tonight, and Rollins interrupts and comes down to the ring.
Rollins calls Kane “Tom Brady” since they both have deflated balls and they both try to cheat into whatever they want. Kane says he’s just trying to bring out the best in Rollins.
Kane says he knows Rollins wants to be the man, but sometimes to be the man you have to go through hell and face your demons (according to his poster in his office). Rollins says he’ll take Kane to hell right now, but Stephanie McMahon interrupts.
Steph gets a big face pop by talking about how great Tom Brady is and asks Rollins how he could dare talk bad about Brady in Boston.
Steph says the Demon will have his day, and it’ll be when he faces Rollins at Hell in a Cell for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Steph also says Kane will be Rollins’ tag team partner tonight. Steph adds the stipulation that at HIAC if Demon Kane doesn’t win, Corporate Kane will be relieved of his duties as Director of Operations.
