10. The Dudley Boyz
Last Week: 9
Seeing them wrestle The Ascension this week got me thinking: What the hell are the Dudley’s going to do if they’re not in the hunt for the Tag Team Championship. Everyone knows they’re one of the greatest tag teams of all time, and they’re not showing any signs of slowing down as they get older, but what do you do with the team that has already done everything?
On the other hand, 3Ds are a worthwhile distraction in the meantime until they figure that out.
9. King Barrett
Last Week: –
Every time King Barrett becomes a weekly regular again, I’m weary that he’ll be off TV just as quickly. The mini feud with Neville has been entertaining thus far and will probably reach a conclusion in the near future. One can only pray something bigger is up next for the Cosmic King of Bad News.
8. Ryback
Last Week: –
Ryback posted a pair of wins this week, both over the hopeless romantic, Rusev. He’s picking up a lot of steam heading into his bout with Kevin Owens at HIAC, seeming like a significant threat to Owens’ first IC reign. Also, that airbrushed, pink singlet was legit.
7. The Wyatts
Last Week: 5
Roman Reigns continues to get the better of Bray Wyatt and his merry band of psychopaths. Bray got laid out by an RKO/Spear combo on SmackDown, and last night on Raw, Strowman lost by count out after getting knocked off his feet. And let’s not forget that Reigns snuck in a sucker punch on Bray after that as well.
6. Kevin Owens
Last Week: 8
Kevin Owens keeps on winning and keeps putting on great matches along the way. This week he took care of Kalisto, nearly murdering the little guy by reversing a hurricanrana into a brutal powerbomb… Poor thing
It’s unlikely that KO will slow down between now and HIAC.
