10. The Dudley Boyz

Last Week: 10

I touched on it last week, but I have absolutely no idea what to do with the Dudleys if they don’t win the belts on Sunday. Sure, they’ll always be good for putting someone through a table; however, that might be all they’re good for once we get past Hell in a Cell.

At least they’re still being booked alongside relevant wrestlers.

9. Kane

Last Week: 3

This is a bit of a conundrum: On the one hand, it was good that Kane got the night off on Raw because we really didn’t need another episode of Seth Rollins running from Kane. On the other hand, one half of Hell in a Cell’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship match was completely absent on the go-home show. So while I don’t wholeheartedly disagree with the decision to keep Kane off Raw for a night, it might have been better if that night occurred last week.

8. Charlotte

Last Week: –

Would you look at that? The Divas Champion was not only at Raw and SmackDown this past week, but she was also winning matches. Crazy how that works…

7. Dean Ambrose

Last Week: –

As is often the case with Dean Ambrose, this ranking has more to do with the assumed, promising future that awaits Dean in the next couple weeks/months. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like Dean is getting a lot more attention than usual these past few days. Perhaps it’s because SmackDown was in his hometown. And let’s not downplay the a momentum rub from an unexpected Shield reunion tease on Raw. However, I’m optimistic in thinking that this recent surge isn’t just a coincidental result of circumstance.

6. John Cena

Last Week: 2

This is a pretty big drop for John, considering he’s the company man and all. That being said, it barely felt like Cena was on Raw this week. The six-man tag match with the Dudleys ended up being a showcase of good guys doing good guy things, and after that, all talk about Cena was more focused on his mystery opponent at Hell in a Cell. Going into Sunday, any conversation about Cena will remain centered around that mystery opponent as well.
