WWE NXT Review: Results, Analysis and Grades; James Storm Debuts
By Evan Gomes
Final Thoughts
Another week and another solid episode of NXT. The debut of James Storm on NXT television lost some of its impact since it was promoted by WWE on their twitter page. However it does add another respected veteran to NXT alongside Samoa Joe and Rhyno, and continues to show that you’re never sure who will be brought in to NXT.
The show tonight showcased the fantastic strength of NXT’s tag team and women’s division. There are so many tag teams that are established and legitimate in NXT that it gives their division tons of depth. Any one of four teams could realistically be the next champion, and lots of teams can be relied on to have a solid match on any given week.
The women’s division, as I mentioned earlier, lost a lot of talent recently with Sasha Banks, Charlotte, and Becky Lynch going to the main roster. However, there is such an influx of talent between Nia Jax and Asuka, as well as more people coming up such as Dana Brooke, Peyton Royce, and Billie Kay. The NXT women’s division will be just fine.
