What happened?

Rusev would defeat Big Show with the Accolade. Mark Henry came to ringside during the match to support Show and further their impending feud.

Did this match have any implications after the PPV?

Rusev’s rise as a monster heel would continue following this match. He would win the WWE United States Championship off Sheamus and hold it until WrestleMania 31, when John Cena became the first Superstar to pin or submit the Bulgarian Brute. This pinfall came a year after Rusev debuted.

Rusev has since fallen down the card and is now stuck in Engagement-Gate with Lana.

Show would go onto have a mini-feud with Henry, which every fan cringed over. However, the former would turn heel at Survivor Series, knocking out Cena, the team captain and aligning himself with The Authority.

Show would receive a moderate push into the winter by defeating Erick Rowan at TLC and going head to head with Roman Reigns for months.
