Charlotte (c) vs Nikki Bella
Charlotte and Nikki met at Night of Champions for the Divas championship and the daughter of the legendary Ric Flair won her first gold on the WWE main roster, after making Nikki tap out to the figure 8 submission. Since that match we’ve seen the escalation of there battles and it was announced that Nikki would get her re-match at Hell in a Cell.
In the background to this match we still have Team PCB vs Team Bella and the woes of Paige, who one minute wants to bash everyone on the microphone (including Charlotte) but the next she wants them to have her back in matches. We saw Paige lose to Nikki on SmackDown this week in the build up to her title shot. There’s also the ongoing mystery of who attacked Natalya a couple of weeks ago, at a time when Natalya looked like she may be about to replace Paige and for a team with Charlotte and Becky Lynch.
We’ve seen all the women who are part of the “Divas Revolution” face each other numerous times and this match is the third between these two for the Divas Championship. There’s the chance that a shenanigans will happen from the outside elements, someone from Team PCB, Team Bella or Team BAD is likely to get involved.
