WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
Seth Rollins (c) vs. Kane
– If Demon Kane loses, Corporate Kane will no longer be Director of Operations
This is a very intriguing match. Rollins seems to be in the middle of a slow break down, with his WWE Championship being the only thing keeping him together. Kane has the hilarious at times split personality that sees him on the one hand as the Director of Operations, Corporate Kane, and on the other the masked Demon Kane who wants nothing more than the destruction of Rollins.
Over the last few weeks we’ve seen Rollins in matches on tv only to be attacked by Kane after the matches are over, dragging Rollins through the ring on Raw has to be the highlight. Kane is one of the few men who seems to be able to keep the comedy rolling off his tongue whilst at the same time keeping that sinister air about him. It’s almost like at any minute he will snap and destroy whoever is in front of him.
Rollins has to be the worst booked WWE Heavyweight Champion of recent years. He doesn’t seem to have been able to buy a win in the last few months but then beat Ryback and Cesaro in the last few weeks. He needs a win to cement himself as a proper champion in the eyes of a lot of the fans.
If Kane loses the match he loses his job as the Director of Operations. The opportunity to have Kane as the masked Demon, wreaking havoc across the roster, on a full-time basis has to be one that is too good to pass up!
