The Authority Opens Raw

Stephanie McMahon and Triple H put over Hell in a Cell and the U.S. Championship match. Trips said last night was the beginning for new stars and they put over Seth Rollins’ win. He is then welcomed out.

The Authority starts putting over how Rollins has defeated many opponents to stay champion. Trips says Rollins stood by his beliefs and beat Kane. He says Rollins made WWE better and how proud they are of him.

Rollins says he did what he said he was going to do and beat Kane. He says he wouldn’t have been able to show everyone how great he is without Trips and Stephanie.

The Authority says they’ve been put in an awkward situation since Rollins has “cleared out” everyone. Trips says someone must earn the right to face him for the title. Winners from last night’s Hell in a Cell show (as noted in the previous slide) will wrestle matches. The 4 winners will move onto a fatal 4-way in the main event of Raw. Trips says the winner will get beaten by Rollins.

Roman Reigns then comes out.

Reigns says this thing has him feeling sick. He questions Rollins belonging in the WWE Hall of Fame, guarantees he’ll be the No. 1 Contender and will take the title.

Rob’s Note: A long, drawn-out promo that we only needed to hear the last 2 minutes of (it lasted 13 minutes). Reigns’ promo was also short, simple and to the point, which needs to happen more often.
