10. The Undertaker
Last Week: – Not ranked (NR)
Even though he lost the rubber match against Brock Lesnar AND got kidnapped by the Wyatt Family, Undertaker makes this week’s list based purely on his awesome performance at Hell in a Cell. Sunday’s match was easily the best out of The Undertaker’s series with Lesnar, and if that was indeed his last Hell in a Cell match, it was a worthy swan song.
9. Dolph Ziggler
Last Week: – NR
Romance woes aside, Ziggler has been on a bit of a heater lately. He, along with teammates Cesaro and Neville, put on a great match at Hell in a Cell, but even more inspiring was his back-to-back performances on Monday Night Raw. No matter that he had a battle with Big E just minutes earlier, Ziggler’s work in the main event was championship-caliber. Although it seems he has to deal with Tyler Breeze first, a quest for gold could be in the cards for Dolph in the near future.
8. Charlotte
Last Week: 8
It’s great to see the Divas Champion finally being prominently featured at the forefront of the Divas Division. Charlotte’s match against Nikki Bella at Hell in a Cell was one of the best Divas matches in recent memory, and one can only expect an equally great performance in, presumably, an upcoming match with Paige.
7. The New Day
Last Week: 5
The lone bright spot this week for New Day was a successful title defense against the Dudley Boyz. Other than that, it’s been nothing but losses for the charismatic trio, the biggest of said losses being the absence of Xavier Woods. Once they are back at full-force, though, things should take a turn for the better.
6. Kevin Owens
Last Week: 6
KO’s dip this week is actually due to the success of those around him. Kevin Owens has been spectacular throughout October; however, a middle-of-the-road feud with Ryback failed to generate much buzz. It’s unclear who the next challenger for the IC Title will be, but, for Kevin Owens’ sake, this upcoming feud needs more drama if it’s going to keep pace with his impressive in-ring ability.
