5. Brock Lesnar

Last Week: –

Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker engaged in an unquestionably brutal battle at Hell in a Cell, and Lesnar emerged victorious, cementing his place as the WWE’s resident force to be reckoned with.

Lesnar—who explicitly stated he was dissatisfied with his match versus ‘Taker at SummerSlam—left everything he had in the Cell on Sunday, earning himself a crimson mask and nine staples to the head as a result. The match was arguably Lesnar’s best since his return to the WWE, and to cap off all the violence and high drama, he laid the Deadman to rest with a devastating F-5 to the exposed ring board.

Due to his limited schedule, there’s no word regarding the next time we’ll see Lesnar again, nor his potential next opponent(s). But one thing is for sure: The Beast is still out there.

4. Alberto Del Rio

Last Week: Not Anywhere Near a WWE Ring

If we were ranking this week’s best secret-keepers, Alberto Del Rio would irrefutably be in first place.

Following his controversial departure last year, it seemed extremely unlikely that Del Rio would set foot in the WWE again. The odds of a return got even slimmer after witnessing Del Rio’s following success in ROH, AAA and Lucha Underground. Yet here we are with our new U.S. Champion: Alberrrrtoooooooo Delllllllll Riiiiiiiiooooooo.

Del Rio looks like he’s in the best shape of his life, and he’s brought with him an invigorated aggressiveness that is visibly apparent in his ringwork. Add a newfound alliance with Zeb Colter, and no other Superstar has more of an upside right now than Alberto Del Rio.
