3. The Wyatt Family

Last Week: 3

Bray Wyatt proved this past week that winning isn’t everything.

Sure, he lost what was an absolute clinic against Roman Reigns at Hell in a Cell, but by no means did Wyatt look weak. There were tables and kendo sticks and a total disregard for humanity; this chapter of Roman Reigns versus Bray Wyatt was their most violent encounter yet. Even though Reigns managed to come out on top, Wyatt put him through Hell every inch of the way.

And after his defeat, Wyatt was quick to brush the dirt off as he and the rest of the Family proceeded to claim a battered Undertaker at the end of the night. Then, just twenty-four hours later, they took Kane as well.

Who knows what the Wyatt Family is planning. What are they going to do the Brothers of Destruction? Do they plan to abduct other Superstars?

It’s yet to be seen, but the Wyatt Family’s reign of terror should continue over the coming weeks.

2. Roman Reigns

Last Week: 2

On Monday Night Raw, Roman Reigns managed to become the number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship again, and this time he didn’t get booed out of the building.

The latter of the two developments is the greater accomplishment.

Ever since his WrestleMania loss, Roman Reigns has taken all the right steps to earn the respect of the WWE Universe. Yes, he is still on course to become the second incarnation of Super Cena—that much seems unavoidable—but for now Reigns has become a hero that everyone can root for, as opposed to people under the age of twelve.

The feud with Bray Wyatt is over for now, and next up on the docket is Seth Rollins. With only three weeks until Survivor Series, expect this rivalry to intensify in a hurry.

And speaking of Seth Rollins…
