Seth Rollins
Last Week: 1
Still your WWE World Heavyweight Champion and still number one on the WWE Power Rankings: Mr. Seth Rollins.
Rollins earned himself a night off after a great match with Cesaro on SmackDown and a successful title defense against Kane at Hell in a Cell, but that didn’t stop him from running his mouth at the beginning or Raw or while on commentary during the main event.
Seth is understandably as cocky as ever. After all, there was a bit of truth in the Authority’s statement that Rollins has beaten everyone the WWE has to offer (sometimes under more questionable circumstances than others). Rollins has gone through the entire roster at this point, and it looks like he’s going to have to go through them all again.
Resuming a rivalry with Roman Reigns, Seth’s 212-day run as champion is in jeopardy once more, and there are rumors that another former Shield member may also be entering the fray soon enough.
As we head into Survivor Series, the tremors of WrestleMania season begin to be felt. Between now and WrestleMania 32, it’ll be interesting to see if Seth Rollins can hold on to his beloved championship and headline the show, but even if he doesn’t, it’s going to be a fun ride along the way.
