Final Thoughts
One thing bothered me about the main event: why wouldn’t Reigns come out to protect his beloved cousins? Strange to see him absent from protecting his family considering he was just interviewed backstage in all of his gear. There’s an awkward family reunion with Thanksgiving coming up.
Aside from the short recap, there were no Divas on the card. It’s strange to see with Survivor Series so close and two of the biggest stars in the division being from the United kingdom. It’s a missed opportunity not putting them on SmackDown.
With the WWE World Heavyweight Championship becoming vacant, all secondary storylines have all gone out the window with the exception of the Undertaker/Kane vs Wyatt Family. It is understandable to a point because it is the title. Still, you expect people to care about other belts too. There was no mention of the US and Intercontinental championships because the title holders are in the tournament still. The tag titles, and their extremely-over holders New Day were entirely absent from the card. That is ridiculous with less than 10 days until Survivor Series.
At Survivor Series, there is still no traditional survivor series matchup, since Wyatts vs Brothers of Destruction will now be just a tag match. My guess for the original partners were Dean Ambrose & Cesaro, or a healthy Sting. WWE will most likely try to throw in an elimination tag team match, but it will have no purpose at all.
