Survivor Series (2003) – Goldberg (c) vs. Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship
Coming into this match, Goldberg had an “injured” ankle, which Triple H focused heavily on during most of the match. I mean it was heavily focused on through chop blocks, use of the ring post, and even a chair shot was used to slow down the champ. The heel stable Evolution was all the rage during this time, so, of course, we saw Flair, Orton, and Batista all get involved during this relatively quick match. Flair is an absolute mad man on the outside, and it’s worth the time just to see what he does.

Eventually, Triple H’s trademark sledgehammer gets involved, which Goldberg uses to his advantage dispatching every member of Evolution with it. This match had a lot of outside involvement by the heels, but the face was able to overcome injury and Evolution to still win the match. Overall, a relatively fun match with average wrestling, you could take it or leave it.
