WWE NXT Review: Results, Analysis and Grades; Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss

Carmella vs. Nia Jax
Result: Jax def. Carmella via pinfall (leg drop).
Rating: 2.25 out of 5 stars
The Princess of Staten Island gets stalked by Jax to start the match and gets hit with big tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Jax locks Carmella into a bear hug, but she manages to escape. Jax goes for a Samoan Drop but Carmella escapes as well. Carmella goes for a hurricanrana but Jax turns it into a spine buster. A leg drop follows that seals the win for Jax.
Evan’s Note: It looks like Jax is going to get the fast track to being a challenger for Bayley’s title if Bayley can get past Alexa Blss tonight. It’s all about balancing the heels and faces, but I would love to see Asuka get a shot first, since she is more polished and ready.
Bliss Interview
Bliss is with Blake and Murphy, and Bliss says she is pleased for Bayley for earning respect at TakeOver against Sasha Banks. Blake and Murphy learn from a ref that they will be banned from ringside for the Women’s championship match. Bliss says it doesn’t matter and the time for Bliss is now.
