Bayley is interviewed by Tom Phillips backstage. Bayley says that Bliss has another thing coming if she thinks it will be easy to take the belt from Bayley. She says Bliss will learn the hard way why she is NXT women’s champion.
Emma vs. Mary Kate
Result: Emma def. Mary Kate via submission (Emma Lock).
Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars
Emma taking on an enhancement talent in Mary Kate, and doing it without Dana Brooke at ringside with her. Mary Kate overpowers Emma, but gets caught with a kick square to the temple. Emma had gloves on and takes them off before choking Mary Kate. Emma uses a bunch of forearms to the back of her opponent’s head. Emma puts on the Emma Lock and forces the tap out from Mary Kate.
Evan’s Note: Emma as a heel is an absolute revelation. If she continues this dark character on the main roster, it will be a significantly better run than her initial debut with Santino Marella.
