Raw Opener: The Authority Introduces the New Champion

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon came out to start Raw and they were all smiles.

They discussed Roman Reigns turning his back on an opportunity when he declined Triple H’s offer a few weeks ago, as well as how Reigns refused to shake Triple H’s hand at Survivor Series and “cheap shot” the game. Triple H went on to state that this was a life lesson for Reigns and then introduced Sheamus. Sheamus was as chipper and pale as ever. He started off by talking about how it doesn’t get much better than this. The crowd tried to get a “you look stupid” chant going, but Sheamus wasn’t dismayed.

Sheamus started mocking Reigns, saying that the Roman Empire only last five minutes. He then asked one question to the WWE Universe: who looks stupid now? Out came Roman Reigns, surprisingly smiling. Sheamus continued running his mouth, and Roman cut him off by proclaiming he wanted his rematch tonight. Stephanie interrupted and said that Roman no longer had the privilege to make demands and she ordered Reigns out of the ring. Reigns in turn called out Triple H for hiding behind a woman.

Out of nowhere, Rusev appeared and kicked Reigns in the face, followed by a Brogue Kick from Sheamus.

Rusev and Sheamus congratulated each other and went to stand at the stop of the ramp with Triple H and Stephanie. Triple H announced that Reigns’ rematch will take place at TLC in a TLC match, and Stephanie tacked on that tonight Reigns has a match with Rusev.
