5 WWE Stars Who Need a Character Makeover

If you were to describe the Showoff as someone who hasn’t watched WWE since the 1990s – the confidence, wanting to steal the show and is a ladies man – someone would think that Shawn Michaels has returned with a different name. Nothing about Ziggler really stands out as different, except he is almost a hybrid of the gimmicks used by Mr. Perfect and the Heartbreak Kid.
While many wrestling fans love Ziggler for his in-ring performance and being able to put on one of the best matches every night, it is hard to give a main event push to someone who seems a little generic with nothing to really set him apart from the rest of the mid-card talents. Therefore, if Ziggler is going to have a show-stealer gimmick, have him start taking over matches by walking out and cutting a promo on the two talents already having a match.
It means making someone a heel, but Ziggler has had his best individual success as a bad guy. Yet the WWE has made someone a face when it doesn’t really suit the confident superstar. It seems like the company has too many stars that teeter too much between good and evil that we don’t have strong talents to be a main event superstar.
