WWE NXT Review: TakeOver: London Go-Home Show

Enzo Amore & Big Cass w/Carmella vs. Corey Hollis & John Skylar

Result: Enzo & Cass win via pinfall (Air Enzo).

Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars

Enzo and Cass are focused, coming out without doing their typical ramp promo.

Big Cass starts the match and does not waste any time on the jobbers, tossing them around the ring. Enzo gets tagged in and talks smack about how the tag titles are coming home with them in London. Cass hits a spin out side slam, followed by Air Enzo for the win.

The winners get a mic after the match. Enzo says that’s how they put food on the table. Enzo says Dash and Dawson taking out his family (Big Cass) is messing with his future. Cass says they’ve fought too hard for too long to get in the way of what they want. Cass says they’ll leave the champs laying and take their titles.

Evan’s Note: The post match promo gets an A+ from me. A lot of people get caught up in Enzo & Cass’ catchphrases, mainly because they’re awesome. Enzo is one of the best talkers in professional wrestling right now and everything he says is believable. Cass held his own in the promo to, bringing his intensity and making you believe how frustrated he was with being injured. Overall a tremendous promo from the Realest Guys in the Room.

Emma & Dana Brooke Interview

Tom Phillips interviews the dynamic duo of Emma and Dana. Tom asks Emma if she’s ready for the match and Emma asks why Asuka has had the red carpet rolled out for her. Emma says the Emmalution started the Divas Revolution. Dana and Emma say they’re in control, and Dana makes Tom shrink down so she can pat his head.

Hype Bros vs Blake and Murphy is announced for tonight. The main event tonight is Finn Balor and Apollo Crews vs Samoa Joe and Baron Corbin
