Asuka vs. Deonna Purrazzo
Result: Asuka wins via knockout (Roundhouse Kick).
Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars
Asuka stalks Purrazzo at the start of the match before the two trade chain grapples. Asuka manages to slide into an armbar, but Purrazzo reaches the bottom rope. Asuka lays into her with kicks and a running hip attack before Emma’s music hits. Emma and Dana Brooke make their way out on the ramp. Purrazzo turns Asuka around and gets kicked in the head and gets knocked out.
Asuka stares down Emma and Dana after knocking out Purrazzo.
Evan’s Note: Having Asuka win by knock out is just so smart. It makes her the most dangerous woman in the division and gives Emma and Dana reason to be cowardly heels. The booking between them has been great from the beginning.
Hype Bros Promo & Blake and Murphy Promo
Mojo says that Blake looks like Mrs. Doubtfire. That’s the only highlight from them.
Bliss blames Blake and Murphy for their loss in six person tag against the Hype Bros and Bayley. This inspires Blake and Murphy who say that the Hype Bros will be broken. Bliss says the Blake Alexa Murphy Factor are back, and their match is next.
Bayley vs Peyton Royce is announced in a non-title match tonight.
