Hype Bros. vs. Blake & Murphy w/ Alexa Bliss
Result: Hype Bros. win via pinfall (Hype Ryder).
Rating: 2.75 out of 5 stars
Mojo starts the match the only way he can: by dancing. He hits a double shoulder block on both Blake and Murphy before tagging in Ryder. Zack hits a double baseball slide to both men on the outside. Ryder hits Blake with a Broski Boot, but Murphy gains control.
Blake and Murphy isolate Ryder in their corner. Ryder counters an irish whip and makes both men hit each other. Rawley gets the hot tag and runs through Blake and Murphy. The Hype Ruder gets hit on Blake, and the Hype Bros get the victory.
Evan’s Note: The NXT tag division is stacked. Another tournament to showcase them would be welcomed, but it is probably to soon after the Dusty Rhodes Classic. Also, Mojo has a limited move set but he’s fun as hell. I always consistently get hyped watching him because it’s clear he’s having a ton of fun.
Samoa Joe & Baron Corbin backstage
Joe says tonight isn’t about how they don’t like each other, it’s about not liking Balor and Crews. Corbin says he doesn’t care where Crews came from and he should be considered a rookie here in NXT. Joe says he’s mad that he fought side by side with Balor through thick and thin but got nothing in return.
