WWE Royal Rumble 2016: 5 Best Options to Win After TLC

Daniel Bryan
The man who leads the “Yes! Yes! Yes!” chant has been told “No! No! No!” for most of the past eighteen months.
Back in Apr., Daniel Bryan suffered a concussion during a live event match on WWE’s tour of the United Kingdom. Given the amount he has suffered over the years, WWE has held him out of action since this one happened.
Last we heard, Bryan was cleared by a non-WWE doctor but wasn’t by a WWE affiliated doctor. He then got checked by a third specialist, but we have yet to hear the results.
Let’s say Bryan got cleared by the doctor. At this rate, a return at the Royal Rumble would make the most sense.
The former ROH star is badly needed with WWE’s roster so thin due to injuries. Him coming back would fill a gaping hole on the roster for the top babyface (despite Roman Reigns’ booking) that everyone wants to cheer.

If Bryan returned at the Rumble, many would expect to see him win and cheer him on throughout his time in the ring. It’s a dangerous move to put him in since he wasn’t entered in 2014, leading to the crowd turning. He was in the 2015 match but got eliminated early on. This led to a viciously negative reaction from the crowd.
Bryan being in the 2016 Royal Rumble and winning would give WWE a chance to end the chants at the show for good. He could headline a WrestleMania that needs star power and he would provide that presence.
