WWE TLC 2015: 5 Stars Who Must Exceed Expectations at the Show

1) Rusev

At WWE TLC, Rusev will face Ryback in a standard match. This was made on the recent episode of WWE SmackDown.

Now that they are healthy, Rusev and Lana are paired back together in storyline (and real life). However, it has been unpleasant to watch their romance on TV. While it’s meant to be annoying, the lovey-dovey action isn’t doing much for their characters. It’s quite a contrast from their call-ups in 2014 when they were seen as fearful.

Well, maybe Rusev can bring back that anger and aggression that once made him a feared heel.

For this to be done, the Bulgarian Brute needs to squash Ryback. It probably won’t happen but if WWE is looking to establish the League of Nations as a dominant faction, having Rusev look like a monster would be best. This won’t produce a great match, but it will exceed the expectation of this being the boring, throwaway bout that has no meaning. It’s hard to explain why these two are wrestling anyway

The old Bulgarian being brought back would do justice to this unanticipated match. It may come at the cost of Ryback, but where is his direction anyway?
