WWE TLC was arguably the moment that put Roman Reigns over for good with the fans. After receiving an indifferent reaction to his match with Sheamus, Reigns turned it around by doing what was previously mentioned—using his fists to talk.

    • After being screwed out of the title by the League of Nations, Reigns unleashed his fury on them with a spear and flurry of chair shots. Sheamus took the brunt of the damage, which led to Triple H coming to the ring to calm down Reigns and check on his champion.

    However, Reigns would go off the deep end a short time after, hitting a Superman Punch on The Game and multiple chair shots. This led to a huge pop from the fans. This was followed by a powerbomb onto the announce table and an elbow that put Triple H through the structure. Reigns received “Thank you, Roman” chants for the first time.

    The icing on cake was at Triple H was being helped away, Reigns turned around from the stage and laid the most vicious spear we have seen into the boss. The crowd exploded for this like no other Reigns moment we have seen before. The Boston, MA, crowd is usually a hot one too, and those would boo Reigns.

    Coming into last night’s Raw, everyone wanted to see what happened with Reigns next. We saw Vince McMahon return to WWE TV for the first time in over a year and threaten to fire Reigns if he didn’t win the title off Sheamus. A few hours later, Roman would get his first real title reign.

    After seeing Reigns go over with the crowd, WWE had to jump on putting the belt on him before it was too late. The momentum was there to do it for the first time after WWE hesitated to put the strap on him so many times before due to the poor crowd reception.

    Well, this was the first time the sound from the audience was actually overly positive, and WWE did their job by putting their top title on the future face. They created a star.
