Rivalry of the Year

Looking at the nominees for this category made me realize that the rivalries in WWE 2015 were disappointing. None of these will go down as a “Greatest of All-Time” rivalry, and that goes for Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker as well. The feud was fun and produced two very good matches (WWE SummerSlam and WWE Hell in a Cell). However, it felt like something was missing.

The other rivalries on this list were far from great. Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt wasn’t really “Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt” for a while with Dean Ambrose, Luke Harper and company involved. The three-team Divas feud is still going and has never been close to being good. John Cena vs. Rusev killed the latter’s momentum. Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins was a good feud, but it didn’t feel “special”.

The vote here goes for Lesnar vs. Undertaker, though, since it had the most backstory to it and dated all the way back to WrestleMania 30.
