11. Fastlane

Date: Feb. 22, 2015

Venue: FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee

Even though it had one of the cheesiest names of all time, Fastlane was unexpectedly entertaining.

Fresh off his Royal Rumble win, the hate for Roman Reigns was at fever pitch. Reigns was viewed to be undeserving of the honor, and, in turn, naysayers were given a slither of hope as a number one contender match between Reigns and Daniel Bryan (who many thought was slighted for the second year in a row) headlined the Fastlane card.

Simply put, the bout between Reigns and Bryan was the most underrated match of the year. And above all else, it accomplished its mission of assuaging the doubts that Roman Reigns could hang in a WrestleMania main event. Say what you will about the outcome, but Reigns and Bryan put on a legitimate wrestling match that was intense and engaging from start to finish.

Another welcome surprise coming out of Fastlane was the Tag Team Championship win by Cesaro and Tyson Kidd, who were then the hottest tandem on the roster. The two put on a technically sound match against the Usos en route to capturing their first championship as a duo, but unfortunately their partnership ended prematurely as Tyson Kidd suffered a neck injury later in the year.
