5 Reasons WWE SummerSlam Will Be Better Than WrestleMania 32

3. AJ Styles Will Get the Match He Deserves
Before coming to WWE, AJ Styles accomplished pretty much everything possible as a professional wrestler. He was a star in every promotion he competed in, becoming a two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion and two-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion among many other accomplishments. But one big accomplishment he never had under his belt was competing at a WrestleMania. That finally changed earlier this year.
Styles would face Chris Jericho in a pretty solid match, but the result left a lot to be desired. It was Styles’ first official feud in WWE and he ended up taking the loss to the veteran Jericho. It was a questionable decision because the newcomer Styles could have used the rub a lot more than Y2J, but it obviously wasn’t a death sentence as he has moved into WWE’s top tier since then.
Although a win isn’t guaranteed for Styles at SummerSlam (if anything it’s unlikely since he won their last one-on-one match), this match will at least be fitting for someone of Styles’ caliber. Jericho is a respectable opponent to be sure, but he’s no John Cena. At SummerSlam, Styles will be showcased in his rightful position as one of WWE’s top stars in a match that has the potential to be an instant classic.
