Prior to his injury, WWE fans speculated whether Finn Balor would form the Balor Club as the WWE registered the trademark in the build up to his main-roster debut but this never came to fruition.
However, WWE christened the stable of Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and AJ Styles as ‘The Club’. Styles is now on Smackdown Live which leaves the remaining members fighting to keep the Bullet Club spirit afloat on Raw’s three hour waters.
Bullet Club, arguably the world’s most dominant faction has plagued every major wrestling promotion there is. From Ring of Honour to New Japan, What Culture Pro Wrestling to Chikara. They possess a litany of highly accomplished wrestlers such as The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega and Adam Cole. The list is too sweet to savor. WWE then suddenly sucked up a previous incarnation of the Bullet Club early 2016.
Ever since, they have portrayed a lesser, knock off version of this global phenomenon known as The Club. Having penetrated the main roster in style by taking out the Usos, the wind blew their way and they finally set sail on Raw’s choppy ocean. It was a long voyage into 2016 that saw poor booking stall their momentum and the WWE cast them out to dry having lost a number of bouts.
Ever since Balor made his debut, he has kept his distance from Anderson and Gallows. With the time he had on the main roster, Balor largely sported his signature ‘Balor Club’ t-shirt. WWE have not given us a real reason as to why the name has not transcended mere marketing onto the main roster.
Should the Balor Club be created? Here are three reasons:

3. The Rejuvenation of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows
This past week on Raw, Roman Reigns devoured Anderson and Gallows. He slowly chewed on the two with his signature moves before spitting out the loose ends. The Big Dog also had dessert with a soft topping of unrelenting chair shots to the Raw tag team champions. The chaos was pointless.
The Raw tag team champions couldn’t handle taking on one Roman Reigns. Even though they won by DQ, the whole segment knocked off momentum and credibility the tag team strived to achieve over the course of several months toiling away in the lead up to now.
When Balor returns, he should form WWE’s version of Suicide Squad. A menacing faction dominating Monday Night Raw. Conquering foes and registering woes. Balor Club would force the evolution of Gallows and Andersons’ characters to come out and become the genesis of a goliath. A goliath that should rip the roster to shreds and mark its territory.
If Anderson and Gallows join Balor Club, they will be the brand monsters they always should have been. By conquering the roster, Raw programming will gain a much-needed layer that will be compelling and refreshing. It gives the current tag champs an extra dimension of brutality and power which will rival that of The Authority.
2. Character Depth for Finn Balor
When Finn Balor initiated his first program with Seth Rollins, he brought out his demon attire for the first time on Monday Night Raw. Fans anticipated this moment for months as Balor was duking it out on the main roster. Within that program with Rollins, we got to see Balor take out his demon on Seth. We got to see the novelty of the face point. However, what else does Balor give us beyond that?
In the short time he was on the roster, we never truly got to understand who ‘Demon’ Balor is. Whenever it did come out, it still felt like Fergal Devitt was wearing paint because it looked cool. With a fiery theme song to aid him, Balor still felt like a man whose only tool was his face paint to wow the audience. Balor’s character still does not have layers. No depth to show us who he really is.
Given he was only on the main roster for a short while, Balor Club will add another world to his character. Balor’s demon gimmick was never fully utilized which presented itself as the only facet of the man.
By forming a new faction with familiar friends, fans will get to see who Finn Balor really is and present more reasons to hopefully get behind this demon.
1. Balor Club vs Authority
With Stephanie dropping a warning for Mick Foley this past Monday night, it couldn’t be clearer that The Authority is standing strong but lying dormant in the shadows before they finally draw the curtains and erect their thrown.
HHH has made sporadic appearances on Raw but both Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe have affirmed themselves as the spearheads of the new Authority. With Roman occupied with Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins on the hospital bed, who is there to stand up to the Authority. The storyline of Daniel Bryan against the machine in the lead up to Wrestlemania 30 was an iconic moment. The Shield taking on an extension of the Authority brought the house down more than once in 2014.

Enter Balor Club. A program of Balor, Anderson, and Gallows taking on the new NXT heavyweights of Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens lead by HHH could make for explosive showings. It gives all members of the stable, a much-needed program as well as making for one thunderous showdown.
