Raw Tag Team Championship Match: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson (c) vs Enzo Amore and Big Cass
The lone tag team match on the main card pits one of, if not the most established teams currently in the world against a team looking to finally hit pay-dirt after years of popularity in NXT and the WWE main roster. The champions, Gallows and Anderson have just joined an elite club with The Steiner Brothers, The Road Warriors, and the Dudley Boyz, as the only tag teams in history to hold both WWE/WWF gold along with the IWGP Tag Team Championship. In gaining that title at the Royal Rumble against Cesaro and Sheamus, the team can very easily make the argument that they’re currently the best team on earth.
Cass and Enzo on the other hand, have been delighting crowds all over the globe especially since being promoted to the main roster in April of last year. They have a terrific rapport with the WWE Universe and have slowly but surely climbed into tag team title contention culminating with their victory over the aforementioned former champs Cesaro and Sheamus on the February 20th RAW.
Now as entertaining as “The Realest Guys In The Room” are, the big question remains is are they championship material? Well no, not yet. They have great charisma and Big Cass has massive superstar potential but they’re not on Gallows and Anderson’s level right now and that is what will make the difference at Fastlane. Gallows and Anderson retain but look for a dirty ending that can extend this budding feud.
