The Usos Are Tag-Team Champions Once Again and They Will Be Put to a Test Immediately

In a surprising outcome, The Usos defeated American Alpha on last week’s SmackDown Live to become tag-team champions once again.

The expectation may be for American Alpha to invoke their rematch clause at WrestleMania 33 but that is not what will happen. American Alpha will seek to have their rematch against The Usos on Tuesday night and their request will be approved by SmackDown Live’s general manager Daniel Bryan.

The reason for the rematch being on SmackDown Live instead of WrestleMania 33 is because it’s bad taste for a WrestleMania match to be a repeat of match that was seen no more than two weeks ago. Therefore, the rematch happens Tuesday night.

American Alpha will put up a strong effort in their attempt to win back their tag-team titles, but The Usos will secure a second consecutive victory over up-and-coming tag-team.

After the match, The Usos will cut a promo and issue an open challenge for WrestleMania 33. The Usos will claim that they are need of a new challenge considering the lack of depth in SmackDown Live’s tag-team division. This promo will set the stage for a returning tag-team to challenge The Usos at WrestleMania 33. This returning tag-team may provide the repairs that the broken SmackDown Live’s tag-team division needs.
