The Big Show vs Big Cass (Enzo Amore in a shark cage suspended above the ring)

Last June, the duo of Enzo Amore and Big Cass broke up.  Honestly, it was time.  Cass is a legit future star with world title aspirations ahead of him and Enzo?  Not so much.  The kid is a terrific talker and personality but his in-ring ability is lacking and then some.  But when the break up first happened it seemed to make sense that the eventual blow-off to the feud would be at SummerSlam.  It’s a grudge match between two former best friends and partners and drama like that should always find it’s way into a show of this magnitude.  But instead, 2 squash matches later and it’ll be Enzo’s new buddy, The Big Show, taking the match.

So there has to be a reason it happened this way, right?  SummerSlam is usually good for a surprise or two every year and this year (although it wouldn’t be a massive shock) one of the surprises will be an Enzo Amore heel-turn.  It makes sense.  It’s been evident in these last two months that Cass and Enzo are better together and with the heel heat the 7-footer has right now, there’s only one way to go.  Enzo just isn’t good enough in the ring to be a full-time wrestler, so having him turn and become Cass’ mouth piece has brilliance written all over it.  That’s right, Cass wins with some help from “The Certified G”.

Winner: Big Cass
