4. John Cena and Roman Reigns Clash

This one seems to be a given. All rumors point to Roman Reigns fighting John Cena at WrestleMania 34. Brock Lesnar is probably going to fight in the UFC again, which tables Reigns-Lesnar for the time being. It’s the match we’re all expecting, and could really elevate Reigns if handled properly. The story needs to be about respect. Reigns feels he isn’t getting the respect he deserves. Cena doesn’t appreciate guys coming in and expecting respect.

This all starts with Roman taking the pin against either Braun Strowman or Samoa Joe. It’s important that he’s kicked down a little bit at this point. Maybe he refuses to shake hands, maybe he throws a fit and tosses some chairs around backstage. Either way, Cena is peeved because Reigns disrespected the sport.

For this match, in particular, it’s important that we start now. Cena’s part time schedule doesn’t allow for a last minute build. Plus, it gives reigns something to focus on other than the Universal Title. He’s been in that picture for years and everyone needs a break from it now and then. Cena is exactly the high profile opponent that will allow Reigns a big match on the biggest show. He can spend the next few months giving Cena a hard time anytime he comes to town.
