1. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose’s Unfinished Business

Brooklyn is for lovers, guys. The build to the Raw Tag Team Championship match between Cesaro and Sheamus and Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins has been incredibly emotional, if a little fan servicey. Regardless, I loved it. They’ve told a really compelling story about betrayal and trust, masculinity and vulnerability. It’s great. They will probably win the championships at SummerSlam, but their journey is far from over.

Rollins and Ambrose should not be Tag Team Champions by that point. They should face each other in one final (“final”) blow off. There is so much to work with in the meantime. Ambrose and Rollins have both the distrust of rivals thrown into a tag team, ala  Sheamus and Cesaro, and the chemistry of brothers. The way the handle each other throughout their reign, will be so important over the next few months. They should constantly be riding the line of putting aside their differences and all the pain that they caused each other, and outright walking out on the other. Shoving matches will ensue.

That start at SummerSlam with them winning the Tag Championships. But it can’t be smooth sailing for the former Shield brethren. Part of the story needs to be that they are still struggling with their ability to trust each other. The champs should be aware of this and unafraid to capitalize on it. So then Ambrose and Rollins will need to overcome that disadvantage while facing the more experienced team of Sheamus and Cesaro. That fist bump and title raise will be one of the best moments of the show.
