Feuding with Roman Reigns

Most of Strowman’s matches with Reigns are extremely high on the rewatchability meter. The in-ring chemistry between the two has always been top-notch, but it’s the juxtaposition of their characters that’s elevated Strowman to main event status.

Reigns is the guy we’re supposed to cheer and Strowman is the guy we were supposed to boo. It’s no surprise that a large portion of fans took to Strowman, as they had been waiting for months to support him. This was their chance.

Roman knows a little something about fan disapproval, as most believe him to be a sort of “machine’s champion”. When Roman Reigns lost to Braun Strowman, “smart” fans won.

His approval rating reached it’s apex in one night on RAW, when Strowman threw Reigns’ stretcher over a ledge and flipped an ambulance on its side. Our hero had arrived.

In reality, Strowman is just like Reigns, a performer who’s been quickly pushed to the top. On the other hand, in our warped world of pro wrestling fandom, he’s the anti-Reigns, the one who arrived on the scene and to defeat the guy we exasperatingly believed to be unbeatable.
