2. Adam Cole
Andrade Almas became a first time champion in 2017 by capturing the NXT Championship, and the leader of the Undisputed Era looks to do the same in 2018.

Adam Cole burst onto the scene in 2017 by ambushing Drew McIntyre alongside Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly. Since then, this group has made a huge impact on NXT and competed inside NXT’s first ever War Games match.
O’Reilly and Fish have already captured tag team gold, and now they just need Cole to capture the NXT Championship to join, as Jason Jordan would say, the “champion’s club.” And that goal does not look that far out of reach.
NXT seems really invested in Adam Cole by making him look strong thus far and win the War Games match, and he has been thrust into some high profile feuds upon debuting. He has a match against Aleister Black at the next NXT Takeover, and you have to think that the winner will be awarded a shot at the brand’s top prize.
With Aleister’s character and in ring work already fully developed and main roster ready, I’m predicting Adam Cole picks up the win (via shenanigans involving the Undisputed Era). Then, NXT can continue to grow with Adam Cole as the face and champion of the company, BAYBAY!
