2. Shane McMahon’s Potential Interference In AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens And Sami Zayn

For the better part of four months, SmackDown commissioner Shane McMahon has been entangled in a feud with Kevin Owens.  And over those few months, there have been several twists included.

GM Daniel Bryan, Sami Zayn, and now the WWE Champion AJ Styles have entered the picture and all have played a key role.  Shane and Bryan’s disagreements in recent memory have intensified greatly and it continued that course when Bryan made a handicap match at the Royal Rumble pitting Styles against both Owens and Zayn for the WWE Championship.

The odds have been and will continue to be against The Phenomenal One at the Royal Rumble, but another factor could potentially benefit the WWE Champion.  KO and Zayn want to become co-WWE Champions, but the long-running feud with Shane O’Mac could rear its ugly head on Sunday.

The blue brand’s commissioner has tried to make life hard for both Owens and Zayn for many weeks now, so it’s safe to assume he could do the same thing at the Royal Rumble.  Especially considering how he was so much against the match to begin with and didn’t agree with Bryan’s decision.

The Phenomenal One might not need his help, but Shane O’Mac could lend a helping hand on Sunday in Styles’ attempt to retain his championship.
