Juice Robinson, Michael Elgin, & Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. CHAOS (Chuck Taylor, Tomohiro Ishii, & Kazuchika Okada)

Juice Robinson wanted to start the match with Okada, and Tanahashi let him. Okada took a cheap shot on Tanahashi, so Juice grabbed Okada and wanted to let Tanahashi have a free shot. The only problem was that Okada ducked and Tanahashi nailed Juice. The two began to argue with Okada looking on. Both men decided that arguing at that moment wasn’t a good idea, and they dropkicked Okada.

Okada tagged out to Chuck Taylor, and Juice to Tanahashi. Tanahashi and Chuck only had a brief bit of grappling, but it made me want to see a singles match between the two. That doesn’t last long, however, and eventually it comes back down to Okada and Juice. After wearing Juice down a little bit, Okada tagged in Ishii and he continued the beating. Juice isn’t one to take it laying down though, and he offered his own series of hard shots to Ishii.

Elgin was tagged in, and he continued the attack on Ishii. Ishii hit a big brain buster though, that all of us at home thank him for. After an exchange of hard blows, Ishii dropped him with a huge lariat. Okada and Tanahashi are tagged in, and one of the most storied rivalries picks right up where they left off. The Ace vs. The Rainmaker has resumed, and both men bring it to each other. However, just as it was heating up, Juice Robinson blind tagged in, which upset Tanahashi. It wasn’t long after that Juice hit the Pulp Friction on Chuck Taylor.

Result: Juice Robinson, Michael Elgin, & Hiroshi Tanahashi

Rating: 4 stars out of 5

This was another great tag match. After the match, Juice and Tanahashi went face to face in the ring. As they were facing off, Okada climbed the ropes and posed with the title right in the middle. He had such a grin on his face, like he was saying, it doesn’t matter because I’m the champ. This was great.
