Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament Semifinal Match: Sasha Banks & Bayley vs Jessamyn Duke & Marina Shafir
The only logical reason I can come up with as to why WWE creative have reversed plans for the Banks vs Bayley rivalry, is that they want them to be in the mix for soon-to-come Women’s Tag Team Championships. If this is the case, I’ll be fully on board. The best friends/rivals competing together for the tag belts right off the bat would be great for the division. Plus, having them fully united for a few months before breaking them up would add a huge amount of heat to their eventual feud.
It may be overly optimistic to think Duke & Shafir could be ready for such a massive stage so soon, but with how much their fellow MMA horsewomen have impressed, it would be foolish to count them out. Also, there is no better team for them to debut against than ring generals Banks and Bayley. The veterans could help the rookies to a solid performance, and the match would serve as an effective build to a Four Horsewomen vs Four Horsewomen match at Survivor Series.

No better time than Evolution.
This could be a solid match, but the real money would be in the build. Hopefully Nikki and Brie could appear on Smackdown for a few weeks leading up to the PPV and create some promo magic with Royce and Kay. As written by WrestlingInc.com, Brie told TV Insider in June that both her and her sister are pushing for another “main story” run, so it seems likely that The Bella Twins could appear on weekly programming for an extended period of time in the near future.
I would definitely have the IIconics go over. Giving them a marquee win over two mainstream stars would be huge for their careers. They could brag about “permanently retiring” the Bellas all the time. It would be fantastic.
