WWE Raw Predictions: Nowhere to Run from Ronda Rousey
By Bryan Heaton
Nothing is Settled in the Tag Team Division
Since winning the Raw Tag Team Championships at Extreme Rules, the shine is coming off The B-Team a bit. Yes, they won in their first title defense, but now they’re up to two rival teams challenging for the gold. And they lost their awesomely terrible theme music in exchange for a terribly generic college fight song.
In a non-title match against The Revival last week, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel weren’t able to put their opponents away before The Deleters of Worlds teleported in and pulled an Invasion of the Body Snatchers-type interference. And for their troubles, this week a triple threat tag team match has been booked for the championships, featuring all three teams.
Even though the SummerSlam card is pretty much stuffed to the gills at this point, I don’t think there’s going to be a title change this week ahead of the pay per view. Dash and Dawson should probably be the champions already, were it not for injuries derailing their debut over the past 18 months. And Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt should be out of the running by now, but here they are still.
The most likely outcome would be a non-finish this week, leading to either a rematch next week, or a straight-up Revival vs. B-Team at some point in Brooklyn, whether the Kickoff Show or WWE Raw on Monday. But this week, Dallas and Axel will escape with the gold for another week.
