Unless…

“Unless…”

One word from Paul Heyman was all it took to add a new wrinkle to the Universal Championship match at SummerSlam. We’ve all seen the replays from two weeks ago, when Brock Lesnar showed up against his will to the show that pays his salary, and he took out Kurt Angle and Heyman, Lesnar’s longtime advocate.

And we’ve also seen the tremendous sit down interview of Heyman, conducted by Renee Young. Heyman, distraught over what happened to him, and his relationship with Lesnar, knows that The Beast is on a path of destruction that cannot be stopped. He doesn’t see any way Roman Reigns has a chance in hell of overcoming such a force.

Unless…

And that’s where it ends. We don’t know what the “unless” is for — is Heyman suggesting he’s going to find a new Paul Heyman Guy to take out Lesnar? Is this new Paul Heyman Guy going to be someone who once called himself “The Guy”? Would Reigns consider making a deal with the devil?

Kurt Angle, You Have No Power Here

The Raw General Manager is furious that Constable Corbin has gone “over his head” to book matches for tonight’s show. Hey, I told you all Corbin would make some kind of power grab this week!

Corbin doesn’t care, and heads to the ring for his match. Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre enter, and completely betray their characters by just laughing at Angle promising a late Seth Rollins arrival. Like, that’s not what those two do. At all.
