Finn Bálor vs. Constable Baron Corbin
Bryan Heaton: Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. When the Raw team put together their half of the SummerSlam card, it was filled with a bunch of rematches from Extreme Rules and/or Money in the Bank. And to be frank, none of them really seem majorly different than the first time around.
So with Bálor taking on Corbin yet again, and the series even after trading wins at Extreme Rules and Raw, I’d say Finn finally gets the decisive victory that closes the book on Corbin until they need to do it again at Hell in a Cell.
Christopher Jeter: WHY IS THIS MATCH HAPPENING??!!!!! Since he’s Raw’s hall monitor Constable, Randall from Recess Corbin doesn’t need the win, so I’ll pick Bálor to score the clean fall.
Trace Johnson: I’m surprised this feud has gone on this long, so it needs to end here. It could go either way, but with Bálor getting the win at Extreme Rules, I’ll say Corbin gets the win here.
Ashley Leckwold: Did Vince not get his weird “Bigger is better” fixation out of his system before firing Big Cass? Because this entire feud has felt like a rehash of the Big Cass/Daniel Bryan feud from earlier this year. For my own sanity and hope that Finn will be back to the spot he was in two SummerSlams ago, Finn better win.
