NXT TakeOver Brooklyn 4: Observations from Inside the Barclays Center

The Jumbotron Goes Out
During the start of the highly anticipated bout between The Velveteen Dream and EC3, the jumbotron was no longer showing the live feed of the match, much to the dismay of the live crowd.
With many fans using the screen to watch at times, especially those further up in the crowd, it was becoming increasingly frustrating not being able to see the match, while also not being able to see what the Dream had drawn up this time around when it came to his attire.
Fans grew restless quick and this soon turned into a similar situation that Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins faced in their Iron Man match at Extreme Rules. We were treated with unique chants such as, “Fix the Screen” and “$9.99.”
The best chant of them all was when the “YES!” chant was heard throughout the arena when all was well again and the jumbotron was in full effect.
Matt Riddle Officially Joins NXT
It’s no secret that indie darling Matt Riddle has been the talk of the town of late. The man had been tied to the WWE, but was still putting on tremendous match after tremendous match in his final weeks before joining NXT.
As per usual with newly signed talents, Riddle made his way into the crowd for his signature moment on camera. As fans awaited the next match to start, people throughout the crowd started to point down by the ring behind the announce table. It seemed as if a man in a suit (with a snapback on) resembled someone that could be Matt Riddle. It quickly became evident that this was indeed the case and WWE had just brought in one of the hottest talents in the world.
Riddle had his few seconds of fame and oozed confidence. He seemed to enjoy the quick moment he had and knew how to control the crowd. After appearing at NXT Takeover last year as a fan, it was now time for him to appear as a member of the roster.
Once his time on camera ended, Riddle left the crowd and headed for the back, as one of the more highly anticipated in-ring debuts is now in sight.
