During Monday night’s Raw, Dana Brooke announced she was leaving Titus Worldwide. There’s three storylines that would fit her talent better.
During this Monday’s episode of Raw, Dana Brooke got a chance to shine while participating in a tag-team match with Ember Moon against Sasha Banks and Bayley. Immediately following a distraction from Titus O’Neil and Apollo Crews that cost Brooke a win in that match, she announced she was leaving Titus Worldwide.
Rumors have been flying around the WWE Universe about the possibility that Brooke was to leave Titus Worldwide with Crews, with the intention of acting as his manager. After last night’s scene, however, it looks like Brooke has other plans.
Brooke joined Titus Worldwide in Nov. 2017, joining the stable as the group’s statistician. Even though Brooke participated in a few of WWE’s women “firsts”, like the Battle Royal and Royal Rumble, she has yet to have a serious push as a singles competitor.
It looks like Brooke has that thought on her mind, as well, as she took to Twitter with her frustrations.
Soooo finished ... let’s see you do better when everyone screaming at you in different directions .. #PLAYTIMEISOVER #wwe https://t.co/cHXBnDjZyz

Brooke is not new to the scene. After a successful body fitness career, she was signed on to WWE’s developmental territory NXT. There she fought various superstars with various degrees of success from 2013 until 2016. In May of 2016, Brooke debuted on the Raw roster, and slowly got lost in numerous feuds with no titles to show for all the work.
With the sudden (hopeful) departure from Titus Worldwide, Brooke has a wide open road in front of her in terms of opportunities and possibilities. There’s three storylines we would love to see Dana Brooke apart of, now that she could be facing singles competition.

Reignited Feud With Asuka
Asuka and Brooke could both use an updated storyline that gives them plenty of opportunities to battle.
During 2014, Brooke and tag-team partner Emma first faced Asuka at her debut in NXT, starting a feud. The two heels both competed in a singles match against Asuka at different NXT TakeOver pay-per-views, and both were defeated by the enigmatic Asuka.
On her last episode at NXT, Brooke accompanied Emma to a bout against Asuka, never fully clipping the strings from the feud. The path for Brooke vs. Asuka is still left open, and pretty clear of serious debris. WWE has shown their not sure whether to keep Asuka face or heel, so it leaves both superstars open to fill either role.
Brooke has traditionally been received better as heel, so in this storyline, she could reignite the feud between her and a face-focused Asuka. Emma has moved on to Ring Of Honor as Tenille Dashwood, which leaves any chance of her being involved incredibly limited. However, this fan holds an incredibly small dose of hope that perhaps Dashwood could make a small appearance and help this feud grow.
WWE wouldn’t need to stray far from an established plot, in this case, to give Brooke the chance to shine on her own.

Brooke and Moon vs. Banks and Bayley
WWE has already given a glimpse of what could be in the alternate universe where Dana Brooke is a wrestler that stands on her own, and teams with other women superstars.
The effort of Moon and Brooke was a losing one against the Boss & Hug Connection, but Brooke had the chance to strut her stuff while teaming up with another talented athlete. The match didn’t live up to its full potential because of Titus Worldwide’s interference, but the booking had the plausibility of being a real show stopper. Ember Moon is a talent that also has been allowed to live up to her aptitude, so the pairing could be a match made in heaven.
Admittedly, the story could get messy when it comes to deciding who is heel, and who is face. Moon is a babyface who’s dangerously close to being evil, Bayley is a solid babyface, and Banks could swing either way. The fact that the details are left for creative freedom is promising, however. The WWE Universe knows that WWE has no problem forcing turns, whether they make sense or not, so it should be no issue to do that in this case, as well.
Just the promise of Monday’s match had fans clamoring for a definite women’s tag-team division. WWE has been teasing the idea, with the hard sell of Boss & Hug Connection, so why not throw Brooke in the mix, where she can be a team player for a team that plays to her advantage?

Brooke vs. Natalya and Ronda Rousey
It should be made clear that it’s not the opinion of this author that Brooke should shoot straight to the top for the title, but it would make for a fun shake-up.
Brooke has cost Natalya a title reign in the past, after she dressed as Ric Flair in order to distract Natalya, helping Charlotte Flair retain her WWE Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules in 2016. Brooke had a short career as Flair’s protegé, which accumulated to a rift between the two, a long strain of losses for Brooke, and ending with Flair being drafted to SmackDown Live.

The feud with Natalya fizzled after Brooke’s storyline focused on the feud with Flair, but the possibility of addressing the bad blood again is still there.
As of now, WWE has an ongoing battle between Mickie James and Alexa Bliss against Natalya and Rousey, all with the title in mind. Brooke could understandably feel short-handed after her time with Titus Worldwide, and feel the need to immediately go for the big prize, which would lead to eventually revisiting the altercation between Natalya and Brooke.
Brooke would need to get through Natalya if she plans on taking on her best friend for the women’s title, so contests between the two is plausible. If WWE follows the usual routine, they could create a six-woman tag-team match out of this idea. Brooke would have to turn back full heel, pair with Bliss and James, and fight Natalya and Rousey with a mystery third person (could we hope for Shayna Baszler?).
Brooke has the talent to hold her own against the strongest on the Raw roster, and she’s been around the block long enough to be considered for a serious title chase.
Tune-in to Raw next Monday to see if Dana Brooke still wants to stand separate from Titus Worldwide.
