4. Nikki Bella vs. Ronda Rousey At Evolution Is Officially Taking Shape
The Bella Twins have been back in the picture in the WWE over the past several weeks with it all leading up to six-woman tag team action at Super Show-Down over the weekend. The Bellas and Ronda Rousey defeated The Riott Squad in Australia, but last night showed Nikki and Brie’s true intentions.
The Super Show-Down rematch took place last night and it was a pretty good match between The Bellas and the Raw Women’s Champion and The Riott Squad. There wasn’t much doubt as to who would win and to no one’s surprise, Rousey made Ruby Riott tap out to the dreaded armbar to get the win for her team.
This was the second win over The Riott Squad in two days for Rousey, Nikki, and Brie, but the real story took place after the match when they were celebrating their win. Everything changed when Nikki attacked Rousey from behind and Brie helped her out. The Baddest Woman On The Planet tried to fight back and did a decent job at first, but the numbers game took over and The Bellas laid her out.
After it was all said and done, Nikki and Brie stood over Rousey in the ring. The rumored match between Rousey and Nikki is all but a certainty at this point at Evolution and last night served as the starting point for the match. This would-be match is understandably getting mixed reactions by the WWE universe, but it looks like there’s no getting away from seeing Nikki vs. Ronda.
The Bellas turned their back on The Baddest Woman On The Planet last night and it’s all leading to the first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view at the end of the month.
